Image Reconstruction 2D-3D
Nowadays surface reconstruction is using in different areas like medical images, art, product design, inverse energy, etc. For example this works is related to medical images, we need a set of continuos images as cuts of images nearless of some organ of our body. There are some medical images of an organ, then we calculate their outline using FB4 algorithm. Then with this outlines we construct the objetc in third dimension and triangulate it to see it more real.
We also use opengl to make ilumination ang z-buffer, see the results in the photo, you could download the paper in spanish from here.
